Rifugio Vedrena – Monte Pavione
Reach the Rifugio Vederna leaving from Imèr (as per itinerary nr. 21) or by car from Pontet following for 12 km a narrow and steep dirt road, very exposed and without safety barriers (no thoroughfare - road not inspected - ask for information from the relevant authority before using the road).
From the Rifugio Vederna (1.324 m) continue to Malga Agnerola (1.543 m) following the road and then path which goes into the woods (nr. 736). Continue along a well signposted path which brings you to the first counterforts of Pavione.
Here the real climb starts which with a difference of level of about 600 m will let you reach the summit of Mount Pavione (2.335 m) which is the highest summit of the Vette Feltrine. This mountain differs from others for its extraordinary regular “pyramid” geometric shape. From the summit you can enjoy an exceptional 360° panorama.
The return is made along the same route as the climb.
